Dr. Alexander Lezhansky is more than just a dentist; he embodies a holistic approach to dental care, focusing on the overall well-being of his patients. With over 19 years ofexperience and a commitment to excellence, compassion, and clinical expertise, Dr.Lezhansky ensures each patient receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs.
Originally born in Ukraine, his family immigrated from the Soviet Union to Brooklyn, New York, in pursuit of improved opportunities. Growing up and attending school in Brooklyn, New York, he later earned his BA from Stony Brook University. Dr. Lezhansky obtained his Doctoral Degree in Dentistry from NYU College of Dentistry, followed by the completion of his General Practice residency at Montefiore Medical Center. Establishing his inaugural practice in Brooklyn, New York, he subsequently expanded his reach by opening another practice in Manhattan, New York.
Dr. Lezhansky is recognized as an Invisalign Preferred Provider since 2006, demonstrating expertise in the cutting-edge field of clear aligner therapy. Additionally, Dr. Lezhansky completed the NYU Dental Implant 2 Year Program, enhancing proficiency in implant dentistry. He is an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) and holds the title of ICOI Fellow, awarded by the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, showcasing dedication and proficiency in oralimplantology.
With a commitment to staying at the forefront of dental advancements, Dr. Lezhansky is also certified as an LANAP Dentist – laser gum treatment and an AMD Airway Mouth Doctor, ensuring patients receive the latest techniques and treatments for optimal oral health and well-being. Continuously investing in ongoing education and professional development, Dr. Lezhansky remains dedicated to providing unparalleled care and achieving superior outcomes for every patient, ensuring they receive the best possible dental experience.
As a former teaching faculty member at NYU College of Dentistry, Dr. Lezhansky is not only committed to his patients but also to educating future generations of dental professionals.

Outside of the office, Dr. Lezhansky enjoys spending time with family, exploring the outdoors, and pursuing hobbies like snowboarding and traveling, emphasizing the importance of a balanced lifestyle for overall well-being. In addition to his practices in Brooklyn and Manhattan, Dr. Lezhansky recently opened another practice in Howell, New Jersey, further extending his commitment to providing top-notch dental care to a wider community.

Dr Alexander Lezhansky is committed to keeping pace with all of the new advances in dentistry and making them available to his patients in his NYC and Brooklyn practices. He is constantly seeking new educationally opportunities to increase his knowledge base in Implant Dentistry, Cosmetic Dentistry, Invisalign Dentistry, Laser Dentistry and Root Canal Dentistry. He also enjoys sharing his knowledge with the students at NYU College of Dentistry as a faculty member at the Dental school since 2009

Dr Lezhansky has been practicing dentistry since 2005 alongside his father and mentor in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn. In 2009 he opened his NYC Dental office in midtown.
